Why attacking Iran has nothing to do with restricting nuclear weapons. The attacks allows Iran to walk away from its restrictions entirely: Article X Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons   “Each Party shall in exercising its national sovereignty have the right to withdraw from the Treaty if it decides that extraordinary events, related to the subject matter of this Treaty, have jeopardized the supreme interests of its country” Simply put if Iran is attacked over nuclear allegations, it gains the legal right under international treaty law to exit the NPT entirely. That means abandoning all restrictions, inspections, and obligations: totally legally. We continue to be led by madness.
