Thomas Friedman has an op-ed in the NYT right now stating that Israel’s actions in Gaza are a threat to Jews around the world. He warns his fellow Jews that when international journalists are finally allowed into Gaza and the scope of the horrors inflicted by the IDF over the last 20 months is finally known, the backlash against Jews and supporters of Israel will be unprecedented.

He warns his fellow Jews that when international journalists are finally allowed into Gaza and the scope of the horrors inflicted by the IDF over the last 20 months is finally known, the backlash against Jews and supporters of Israel will be unprecedented.
He includes some letters from former IDF commanders who say they’ve been having some “tough, uncomfortable conversations lately with other Jews about the optics of all this,” because, according to Friedman, “that’s what being pro-Israel really sounds like.”
He then concludes by demanding that supporters of Palestine hold college campuses protests and demonstrations to “denounce Hamas, tell them to stop dragging out the war,” because “that’s what being pro-Palestine really sounds like.”
Soooo…. Being pro-Israel means tough talks in private conversation about how bad murdering children makes Jews look.
And being pro-Palestine means organizing world-wide demonstrations and demanding that Hamas release the hostages and totally surrender without preconditions.
LMAO… gee Tom, I can see you’ve been taking those “Power of Compromise” classes to heart. Good job bub, keep it up
