The UNGA has just overwhelmingly voted (149-12) for a permanent ceasefire in Gaza, and for Israel to be held accountable for its violations. It is an important statement of the position of the world and of the isolation of the US & the Israeli regime. But it is not enough. We need a protection force, the removal of the regime from the UN, robust sanctions, an embargo, and an accountability mechanism. There is no more time to waste.
