The extreme irony of Trump being elected largely because he was supposedly less of a warmonger, and 5 months into his presidency he starts a war in the Middle East based on the WMD excuse. Again it's like the US is trapped in an ancient Greek prophecy where the harder it tries to escape its fate, the more violently it fulfills it.
