Obviously the US is intimately involved in the intelligence, planning and operations of these Zionist attacks on Iran. It has provided the diplomatic, political, economic and media means to conduct the attacks and armed the force which has conducted them.
But Zionism is an imperialist force in its own right. It is simply an imperial project whose key tactic is to squat on and leverage the capabilities of other states. Zionism and US imperialism share many characteristics and outcomes, but they are not the same thing, either historically or today. It is extremely simplistic to see the Zionist empire as a mere tool or outgrowth of US empire, and lets Jewish supremacists off the hook both for their ideology and their actions.
