I’m defending a people who’ve lived under siege, airstrikes, checkpoints, snipers, blockades, home demolitions, and military occupation long before a single hostage was taken. You speak as if history began on October 7. But Gaza’s been under siege since 2007. Palestinians have been occupied since 1967. And their land has been stolen since 1948.

Let’s be clearer: Who am I defending? I’m defending a people who’ve lived under siege, airstrikes, checkpoints, snipers, blockades, home demolitions, and military occupation long before a single hostage was taken. You speak as if history began on October 7. But Gaza’s been under siege since 2007. Palestinians have been occupied since 1967. And their land has been stolen since 1948. So no, you don’t get to collapse all that into a single headline and pretend it absolves decades of brutality. You say I can’t defend that. But what exactly are you defending? The bombing of refugee camps? The starvation of two million people? The execution of journalists, doctors, and children? Because when you stay silent about those things—but scream about hostages—you’re not defending morality. You’re defending power. And since we’re talking about hostages: Israel holds thousands of Palestinians in indefinite detention—many without charges. Including children. Where’s your outrage for them? Or do only certain hostages matter? You don’t get to cherry-pick when humanity begins and ends. Because if your moral compass only activates when it’s politically convenient, It’s not a compass. It’s a weapon. And right now, you’re using it to justify massacre while pretending it's principle. So thanks for the clarity. You didn’t expose me. You exposed yourself. And proved, once again, That for some people, the only crime Palestinians ever commit… is surviving.

Let's be clear: the group you defend STILL has hostages. You cannot defend that.
