The Palestinian Authority seems to be obsessed with the idea of Nelson Mandela’s ‘peaceful struggle’ to end apartheid… when in reality, it was the armed struggle in South Africa that forced the apartheid regime into negotiations to end the racist system. Israel is waging a war of annihilation against the 2 million Palestinians of Gaza, and will soon turn its genocidal attention to the West Bank, and is already preparing the ground for another campaign of annihilation. Will the Palestinian Authority realise too late that you can’t stop a genocidal war machine with endless deliberations, placards, and trying to appeal to the imaginary good nature of your oppressor?
