Ever notice how reliably the western media echoes the political class in selling us two contradictory ideas at the same time:
1. Iran's "mad ayatollahs" are so irrational they can't be allowed to have a bomb.
2. Those same ayatollahs just ordered what the BBC called the "politest retaliation in history", telegraphing well in advance that they were going to symbolically fire six missiles at a US military base in Qatar.
Iran has shown unremitting restraint, in the face of relentless duplicity, aggression and law-breaking from Israel and the US, and yet we are told that it is the Iranians we should fear.
