Iran has many good scientists and engineers. Contrary to propaganda from Bibi et al., moderates in Iran *restrained* its nuclear ambitions for many years. They slavishly wanted to be accepted by the West and to profit from trade.
IF hardliners gain control in Iran they will likely obtain nuclear weapons in a short time.
