This is what happens when a nation confuses impunity with immunity. When it believes it can outsource death forever, and never see the return address.

Every empire tells itself a story: that it’s chosen, that its violence is virtue, that consequences are for others. But stories end. And reality doesn’t ask permission. This is what happens when a nation confuses impunity with immunity. When it believes it can outsource death forever, and never see the return address. Americans have been conditioned—like Pavlov’s dogs—to salivate at slaughter, as long as the blood is spilled far from home. They don’t see corpses. They see "precision." They don’t hear children screaming. They hear "freedom ringing." For decades, the U.S. turned the Global South into a weapons lab, a graveyard, a testing ground for every new algorithm of annihilation. And every time someone was vaporized at a checkpoint, starved by sanctions, or reduced to DNA by a drone, they didn’t mourn. They held press conferences. They called it strategy. But now the fire licks their own doorstep And suddenly it’s sacred. Suddenly death has dignity. Suddenly the rules matter. No. You don’t get to cry now. Not after Vietnam. Not after Korea. Not after Iraq. Not after Libya, Syria, Afghanistan, Panama, Somalia, Yugoslavia. Not after Hiroshima and Nagasaki. You don’t get to murder half the world and then play victim when the gun shakes in your own hand. You don’t get to glorify assassination and call it "policy," then shriek when retribution knocks with the same blood-soaked logic. This isn’t karma. It’s consequence. And America—so drunk on its own delusions—still thinks it can kill forever without a receipt. Well, this is the receipt. Stamped. Delivered. Notarized in the language America taught the world: violence. They expected to stay untouchable. But the empire isn’t untouchable anymore. It’s exposed. Fragile. Flammable. And now the whole world smells the smoke.
