All the signs were there. Years, decades of dehumanizing Palestinians. Of putting them “on a diet.” Of “mowing the lawn.” Of calling their babies snakes.

Years, decades of dehumanizing Palestinians.
Of putting them “on a diet.”
Of “mowing the lawn.”
Of calling their babies snakes.
All the signs were there of the genocidal catastrophe Israel is now inflicting on Gaza.
And the West kept sending weapons.
Kept giving diplomatic cover.
While the media justified colonialism and smeared us as anti-Semites.
Never forget, this was always preventable.
It still is.
Stop arming Israel.
Stop shielding its leaders from accountability.
Stop trading with them.
Force food and protection into Gaza BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY.
Until that happens, I don’t believe a single Western leader’s performance of concern.
