The system the US is kicking and screaming about being unfair for the US was CREATED BY AND FOR THE US!
The goal was to impose a global economic order on the world, subordinating and exploiting different nations for different purposes.
The advance and proliferation of technology and the means to research and development it has short-circuited this process, leveled the playing field, and is allowing nations like China to move out from under the shadow of US dominance.
Today, it is human resources (population, education), infrastructure, and industrial production creating wealth and power. It is no longer possible for smaller nations to dominate larger ones - past disparity is disappearing as technology continues to proliferate and development accelerates.
Rather than accept a proportional role within this new world, and that the West's malicious, unwarranted, exploitative model was wrong and is failing, the US insists on collapsing everything possible to stave off this progress and reassert itself again as world hegemon.
At stake is human progress for ALL of us, whether you live in the West or far beyond it.
We are at a juncture where we may move rapidly into an unbelievable future, or slide backwards into spite-induced violence and collapse.
