It’s that it taught its people to enjoy it.
To cheer for bombs.
To wave flags while children burn.
To mistake dominance for destiny.
To call it "freedom" when it’s conquest.
This empire doesn’t just commit atrocities.
It manufactures accomplices.
Through screens.
Through slogans.
Through silence.
Because the truth is, this machine wouldn’t last a day without the millions of Americans who keep it alive by doing nothing.
Or worse—defending it.
Not because they’re evil.
But because they’re conditioned.
Conditioned to feel pride instead of guilt.
Superiority instead of shame.
Fear instead of thought.
So when people say, "It’s the Americans,"—they’re right.
Not all of them.
But enough.
Enough to vote for war every four years.
Enough to call for sanctions that starve children.
Enough to believe the lie every time it’s told,
As long as the villain doesn’t look like them.
That’s the power of imperial propaganda.
It doesn’t just lie to you.
It builds you.
And it builds you to obey.
To obey power.
To trust it.
To love it.
To protect it.
Even while it kills everything you once cared about.
And that’s why this empire is more dangerous than any dictatorship it condemns.
Because it doesn’t need force.
It doesn’t need consent.
It just needs belief.
And it got that belief by hollowing out history,
By turning genocide into "security,"
By making you forget how to feel when the dying don’t speak English.
But all of it’s cracking now.
Because propaganda has a shelf life.
And the truth—the real, ancient, elemental truth—doesn’t go away just because they buried it under Hollywood scripts and high school textbooks.
The truth is surfacing.
And when it does?
It’s not just the empire that falls.
It’s the illusion of innocence.
And that fall will shake the world.
