More than 100,000 Israeli reservists have signed a letter demanding an end to the war and threatening they will not report for duty again (as many have already been doing for a while).
Two conclusions from that:
1. Israel is breaking from within under the pressure on a never-ending war (read: genocide), and a growingly fascistic Netanyahu reign (read: for Jews, as Palestinians have lived this reality forever). The liberal Ashkenazi elites cannot fight and kill while defending themselves from increasing right wing persecution and hate. Had they taken such a step a year or a decade ago they would have saved some of their humanity and dignity - maybe. Now they are genociders and also useful idiots and a persecuted minority.
2. One sure way for Netanyahu to solve the domestic problem is to go to war with Iran. As soon as a major war break all the reservations will be forgotten.
Nothing revives a fascist like war. Trump is going to realize this soon as well, as all his economic braggadocio starts to really bite.
