Hamas is rejecting Netanyahu's conditions for extending phase 1 of the ceasefire b/c the written agreement clearly stipulates that phase 1 should be renewed unconditionally & indefinitely as long as negotiations on phase 2 are ongoing
That's why Netanyahu never even started the phase 2 negotiations; a loophole to collapse the ceasefire!
Phase 2 includes an end to the war & an IDF withdrawal from Gaza. It's also expected to include Hamas stepping down from gov in Gaza (which they agreed to already).
