Really pleased to announce the publication of my latest article "Evidencing alethocide: Israel's war on truth in Gaza" in Third World Quarterly. In it I argue that 'disinformation' as a concept does not capture the true scale of Israel's war on truth. I propose the concept of "alethocide" (killing of truth) to fully capture deliberate, systemic lying in service of genocide. I also highlight how "modulators", including big tech and receptive Western media promote or demote certain narratives to emphasise what is considered truthful or disinformation in the ongoing genocide.
