A couple of other glaring issues with Trump's post:
1. If hostages have been "murdered", all evidence suggests Israel, not Hamas, was responsible – first, while the hostages were in Israel, by using the Hannibal procedure that allowed Israeli soldiers to execute fellow Israelis to prevent them being taken captive, and then inside Gaza by carpet bombing the enclave, indifferent to the danger it posed to the people there, including the hostages.
2. Trump thinks it "sick and twisted" to hold the bodies of captives. He's probably right. But then he needs to berate Israel far more than Hamas. For decades, it has had a practice of holding on to the bodies of Palestinians it murders, refusing to return them to their families. It variously uses those bodies as bargaining chips – sometimes simply to pressure the family into having a midnight funeral to which no on is invited as a way to keep a death quiet.
