Israel advocacy will *always* find ways to delegitimise what Palestinians manage to show the world. The unchilding of Palestinians is a very real and serious issue.
The issue with the BBC carrying a documentary on Gaza, even one that barely scratches the surface and lacks depth of real detail, isn't that the main narrator is a Palestinian child who's parent is a Hamas figure... the issue is the idea of Palestinians being permitted to document and narrate their own story in the first place.

Even if the BBC had found the perfect Palestinian victim™ who was unrelated to anyone involved in any Palestinian faction... the BBC would still be facing demands from these nasty Israel advocacy types to take down the documentary.
Again, the issue isn't really whether this Palestinian teenager is the son of a prominent Hamas figure... its that Palestinians are never to be permitted to tell their own stories at all.
