This isn’t just about OpenAI’s hypocrisy anymore —now it’s about who controls human creativity in an AI-driven world.

This isn’t just about OpenAI’s hypocrisy anymore —now it’s about who controls human creativity in an AI-driven world. If AI companies claim ownership of outputs, they’re not just protecting IP; they’re privatizing thought itself. Copyright law has always required human authorship, but AI giants want to rewrite the rules to turn public-domain ideas into corporate assets. If every AI-assisted email, meme, or code snippet carries a hidden license, the internet will become a corporate minefield, suffocating open-source projects and free knowledge. AI-generated content will be paywalled, startups will be extorted, and individuals will be policed—all while companies preach “ethical AI” and “democratization” as they consolidate power. The only way forward is open-source AI. Support models that keep AI-generated content public domain. If we don’t fight back now, we risk handing a few CEOs control over every idea and every creative spark that touches their machines.
