Prof. Jeffrey Sachs: “Because Israel has run American foreign policy in the Middle East for 30 years.” Now we see why. Israel has occupied more swathes of Syrian land, has rendered Syria completely defenceless by destroying its military capabilities, and now has proxies in power who have done nothing to halt Israel’s growing occupation of Syria.
