Their only 'achievements' have been breathtaking destruction, wanton murder of innocents, and finally opening the eyes of the masses to the depraved nature of their society and to their colonial 'state' as aberration of history.
In the end, they came to Hamas' terms, stated on Day 1 when they offered to return ALL the hostages in exchange for Palestinian hostages who've languished in their dungeons for years, many without charge or trial, and many of them children.
Hamas said only a prisoner exchange would bring their citizens back, and indeed, that's the only thing that peacefully brought any of them back thus far.
Whereas historically Palestinians have compromised, negotiated, and sacrificed so much in good faith for the sake of some semblance of a dignified life, that is no longer the case for most of us. There is no coming back from this holocaust until this fascist cancer in our midst is defeated. As sure as the sun will rise, that day will come.
