- 30,000 troops defended Aleppo, but they retreated when 350 militants came
- pro Iranian militias retreated to Iraq and Lebanon without a fight
- Russia flew out thousands of Iranian soldiers
- New Syrian authorities want to keep the Russian bases, Russia thinks about it
- For now they likely will be used for humanitarian aid deliver
