Despite US Offers, Iran Won’t Abandon Avenging Soleimani’s Death
US offered concessions to abandon threatened revenge

Iran Revolutionary Guards Navy Commander Alireza Tangsiri reports that the US has repeatedly sent messages related to the 2020 US killing of commander Qassem Soleimani.
The killing of Soleimani angered Iran greatly, and the Revolutionary Guards have threatened revenge over the killing. The US has been trying to get Iran to publicly disavow any plans for revenge.
The US keeps calling, they say, and keep offering various concessions or sanctions relief if the Iranians make a statement promising not to seek revenge over Soleimani’s revenge.
Its a non-starter for Iran, with the Guard saying it is a “fantasy” and that Iran still intends to get revenge for that killing.
