Saudi General Says Report of Yemen Pullout ‘Baseless’
Troops, weapons pulled out from major Aden base

The Yemen War is going really badly for the Saudis, and when they withdrew from a major base in Aden, rumors started that this was the start of an outright pullout.
Saudi Gen. Maliki said this was baseless, and the troops were redeploying, not leaving. He attributed this to a tactical assessment on the war.
If it really isn’t a pullout, people could be forgiven for mistaking this for a pullout, as troops and heavy arms left on ship, and through the airport, not suggesting they’re being moved a couple towns over.
Even if the troops aren’t leaving, its likely the Saudis are taking some weaponry off the table, giving them more flexibility if they decide to leave later.
