Details are scant, as Israel followed its standard of not commenting. Syria similarly offered little beyond saying that they’d intercepted several missiles.
So what was attacked and why is unclear. Generally though, Israel likes to attack Shi’ites and then claim they were Iranians. Most Shi’ite militia in Syria are not from Iran.
Syria has gotten more effective at intercepting attacks, but so far has been unable to chase attacking Israeli arplanes out of their airspace.
