US Envoy Says Trump Ready to End North Korea War
Says US willing to discuss compromise actions during summit

Speaking at Stanford ahead of a visit to South Korea, US special envoy for North Korean Stephen Biegun revealed that President Trump is willing to offer compromises during the upcoming summit with Kim Jong Un, and is ready to end “70 years of war and hostility.”
Biegun says that Trump is willing to offer diplomatic ties and economic aid in return for progress in the peace talks. He did say that there are some new demands that will be issued for North Korea to meet as well.
Talk of compromise and more negotiations on more details can only be a good sign, as a big problem at present is that the US is issuing virtually endless demands as it is, and offering nothing in return.
Indeed, North Korea has greatly complained about the lack of US reciprocation, and in particular has made ending the war a top priority. If these are things President Trump is willing to offer, there is reason to be very optimistic about this next summit.
