Netanyahu is pushing the region to explode
All the signs suggest that the terrorist Benjamin Netanyahu is pushing the Middle East towards instability and the brink of an all-out war. They also suggest that the coming days and weeks may witness serious developments that no one can foresee or predict accurately.
There are many Israeli analysts and writers who believe that the Israeli Prime Minister’s remarks and plans are designed to eliminate or rather alleviate the enormous internal pressures to which he is being subjected, especially the bribery accusations against him and his wife and the police recommendation that he be investigated by the attorney general. This is not the first time that the police have made such a recommendation, and it seems like it won’t be the last.
Netanyahu has claimed that there are tunnels along the border of southern Lebanon, and turned all his attention to an area that is full of landmines and is on the verge of exploding. Israeli propaganda has also exaggerated the situation and the mobilisation of Israeli troops. Netanyahu travelled to Brussels and met with US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo in order to brief him and pass on the information that Israel possesses about the tunnels, as well as the possibility of events escalating into another war against Lebanon’s Hezbollah militia.
All of this confirms Netanyahu’s insistence on creating new scenarios that push the region to explode, even though now, a week later, Lebanon has not admitted to the existence of any tunnels. According to the Speaker of Parliament in Beirut, Nabih Berri, Israel has not presented any concrete evidence. He also asked for the coordinates of the alleged sites during a meeting with the US Ambassador to Lebanon. This forced Israel to send messages to the Lebanese through the Americans that it does not intend to escalate matters; this was announced by Lebanon’s President, Michel Aoun.
It is important to point out in this regard Israel’s failure in its latest undercover infiltration on Gaza, as it was rebuffed and defeated by the Palestinian resistance. Israeli Defence Minister Avigdor Lieberman resigned in protest after senior army officers refused to wage another war on the Gaza Strip. They decided this, apparently, due to their conviction that the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) would not win and would be likely to sustain severe losses given the improved arms and capabilities of the resistance fighters, who released a video of themselves destroying an IDF coach, having let all of the soldiers disembark first. This was a warning for Israel to not take risks by trying to attack Gaza again.
Netanyahu will continue to manoeuvre and incite the US against Lebanon, Iran, Syria and the Palestinian resistance. He succeeded in pushing Trump to withdraw from the Iranian nuclear agreement, and will continue to support Daesh and those who have followed it in order to keep the region on fire. He will also continue to escalate his aggression and hostility on our people in the occupied West Bank, Jerusalem and Gaza Strip. Neo-fascist Israeli troops are currently violating Ramallah and detained employees of the Wafa news agency on 10 December, the day that the UN commemorates as Human Rights Day. Israeli snipers also continue to open fire on those participating in popular protest marches, while illegal settlers desecrate Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Netanyahu is escalating aggression on all fronts according to a deliberate policy to keep ordinary Israelis afraid and confused. He aims to divert attention from the corruption charges against him and his wife and thus stay in government until the next General Election. He is infected by a love of power.
To sum up, the region is on the verge of exploding due to Israel’s aggressive policies under the Netanyahu government. He wants to shuffle the cards and alliances again, and put America in a new war, so that Israel remains the strongest in the region and he is still the game master. However, he will not achieve this because the Middle East is full of surprises that are both unpleasant and unexpected. His lies have no legs to stand on.
