Now's your chance to own Banksy artwork for cheap with his new Gift Shop

Banksy is a pretty bankable name in street art. His works are unique and highly sought after — but he hasn't sold any directly since 2013. Until now.

This autumn Banksy will be opening a new gift shop (I wonder if you exit through it?) adjacent to his Walled Off Hotel in West Bank, Palestine.
The shop will sell T-shirts, coffee mugs, and standard tourist trinkets, in short. The crucial difference being that they are all designed and made by Banksy, and the surprises don't end there.

The items will all be relatively cheap, key rings for example will cost a mere 90 shekels — about £20. Now you may consider that a bit dear for a key ring, but considering Banksy's work has sold for upward of £120,000 in the past you could consider it an investment.
There are one or two unusual items thrown in among the tat. Visitors will be able to purchase crucifix grappling hooks with sharp, hooked blades for maximum grappling power. Pretty novelty stuff.

As well as a new gift shop the hotel will start running package holidays for its guests. Included will be tours with actual street artists and being taken to paint on the West Bank Wall, already festooned with political graffiti.
Think you can do better? Then book now!

If on the other hand you can't quite get up the effort to pop over there yourself, there is an online shop where you can check out and even order the merchandise. Enjoy browsing the subversive, satirical and above all politically ambiguous artwork!
