Jimmy Carter and Putin Agree on N. Korea: US 'Oligarchy' is the Problem

Anybody who knows anything about geopolitics knows there is not going to be a war in North Korea.

That is exactly what we said in April, when this whole Korea thing started: Don't Let the Media Make You Fear War With North Korea. Turn off Your iPhone and Go for a Walk.

Nothing has changed since then.

There is one, and only one reason the administration kicks up a fuss about Korea, - to change the narrative from things they don't want dominating the headlines - that is it.

With the fake news Russian collusion delusion hogging the limelight for most of the year, the administration has pulled the ol' Korea card every other week since March.

The media plays along with it because A) most of them know nothing about geopolitics, and B) they know that when they do their Chicken Little shtick, it boosts ratings. That is it.

We've explained this 100 times by now, but in case anyone missed it: there is no military option in Korea. The N. Korean military, which is formidable, although it would be wiped out by US power in short order, could incur unacceptable damage to S. Korea and Japan in the process, possibly even detonating nuclear weapons which could cause a global catastrophe. Their conventional weapons alone could kill millions in S. Korea in a matter of hours.

Everyone involved in the 'crisis' knows this. Russia knows it. China knows it. The US knows it. Both Koreas know it. Japan knows it.

Putin explained this fact in the plainest of terms at a press conference in Moscow last week. He should really consider a second career as TV talking head. He has gotten very good at explaining geopolitical realities in terms that would make things immediately understandable to the average viewer.

Its really worth listening to his 1 minute explanation of some very simple facts here:

He also explained that the Koreans would rather 'eat grass' than give up their nukes, precisely because the US keeps threatening them.

Also eminently sensible and listenable.

The videos we put up about this got a combined 300k views. And that's just lil' old RI. Believe us, plenty of people understand what is up in N. Korea.

Putin comes across as a very reasonable, trustworthy statesman, as opposed to the hysterical squawking emitting from the other side of the pond.

Now that we've addressed the American kindergardeners, lets turn to the adults in the room, who are actually saying very intelligent, and similar things.

Jimmy Carter just came out with very sensible advice, which echoes what Putin has been saying.

The former peanut farmer explained, also quite plainly:

 “What (the N. Koreans) want is a firm treaty guaranteeing ... that the US will not attack them or hurt them in any way, unless they attack one of their neighbors.”

 “But the United States has refused to do that.”

Precisely what Herr Putin says in the above video. And it happens to be the God's honest truth.

The reason the US refuses is that this would deprive them of something to squawk about next time they need it.

Carter then goes on to explain that the US is no longer a democracy:

Now (the US is) just an oligarchy with unlimited political bribery being the essence of getting the nominations for President or being elected President. 

And the same thing applies to governors, and U.S. Senators and congress members.

Another patently obvious fact that Putin has stated many times.

So wake up my fellow Americans. The president of Russia and the former president of the US are telling you very simple, basic facts, that your media and government, hog-tied by the oligarchy that owns them lock, stock and barrel, won't tell you.
