Putin Scores a Geopolitical Checkmate with Imminent Liberation of Deir ez-Zor

Syria turned out to be the Waterloo of the US elite’s New World Order

The Syrian troops are advancing towards Deir ez-Zor
The ISIS is now on its last legs, routed and isolated across the country the Syrian army and its allies are about to sound the death knell for the terrorist organization in the Syrian city of Deir ez-Zor. With the impending victory, Putin will score a geopolitical checkmate and deliver a crushing blow to the schemes of the New World Order in the Middle East.
Deir ez-Zor will mark the end of ISIS
The Battle of Deir ez-Zor will not be the decisive battle of the war, because the Syrian army and its allies have already won the war. But, the imminent liberation of Deir ez-Zor will go down in history as the battle which marks the victory and the destruction of the ISIS. After Deir ez-Zor, the ISIS will be finished leaving the terrorists running for cover in the deserts like panicked rats as they will not have any urban bases where to hide. It will then take from a half a year to a full year to clear the whole country of the remaining ISIS terrorists. On the map, the terrorist organization still seems to control vast territories, but they consist mostly of uninhabited deserts, the only habitable areas remaining for the time being in ISIS’s control will be a string of villages around the fertile valleys of the Euphrates river and its tributary the Khabur river.
Apart from other localized mopping operations to clear Syria of the other jihadist organizations, the one remaining problem is the Idlib province in North-Western Syria, which is occupied by two rivaling jihadist groups, which now have fallen out with each other: the Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham, which is the rebranded al-Nusra front (in itself the local Al-Qaeda franchise) and the Turkish backed Ahrar Al-Sham.

Heroes of Our Time: Defenders of Deir ez-Zor
Deir Ezzor has been under an ISIS siege for close to four years now. It is the longest siege in modern history having lasted longer than the 900-day siege of Leningrad. The defenders of Deir ez-Zor and the residents holed up there are the true heroes of our time.
Through the years, the residents have suffered from constant shelling and raids by the terrorists encircling the city. Vast areas of the city have been cut off from power supply and access to potable water. For food and medicine, the city has been dependent on deliveries parachuted after the ISIS managed to cut off the road linking the airbase to the city. Occasionally Syrian army helicopters manage to land in the city bring deliveries and military reinforcements. Here’s an inside report about the insufferable conditions in the besieged Deir ez-Zor.
It is estimated that approximately 100,000 residents are entrapped in Deir ez-Zor in those conditions of absolute deprivation. Yet, this has been of no concern for the Western elite, their media and their politicians. There was a huge hue and cry when the Syrian army aided by the Russian air force was proceeding with the liberation of Aleppo from Al-Qaeda and other assorted terrorist groups, all euphemistically called “moderate rebels,” but there has been an absolute silence about the plight of the 100,000 Deir ez-Zor residents besieged by the ISIS, one of the most sickening and despicable terror regimes through history.

After the ISIS struck in Nice, the Eiffel Tower was lit in the colors of the French flag; after they struck in Belgium, the colors of the Belgian flag; after the attack in Orlando, then in the colors of the US flag. But, no colors of the Syrian flag, not for a single day of the more than 1,000 days of terrorism that the residents of Deir ez-Zor have been subjected to. Joining the Western propaganda front, the Finnish Protestant State Church habitually tolled the church bells across the country to show sympathy for the besieged Al-Qaeda terrorists as the Syrian and Russian forces went about liberating the city. But, no bells have been tolling for Deir ez-Zor’s victims of ISIS terrorists.
Not only has the Western elite and their tethered media stayed mum on Deir ez-Zor, they’ve actually registered their antipathy, their hatred of the Syrian victims of terrorism, by way of including in their infamous sanctions list Issam Zahreddine, the commander of the heroic defense of Deir ez-Zor, who was flown in there to take command in October 2013.

Forget the West, Syria and allies will liberate Deir ez-Zor
But the Syrians do not expect any help from the West in defeating the ISIS, and why would they, after all the ISIS is just part and parcel of the original Western and Gulf states sponsored weaponry against the Syrian people. Syria is counting on its own forces with the help of its allies: Russia, Iran, the Lebanese people’s militia, the Hezbollah, and the Palestinian Liberation Army.
The Syrian Arab Army has in the past few months rapidly liberated vast territories from ISIS in the provinces of Aleppo, Raqqa, Hama and Homs, and now the SAA and its allies are gearing up for the crucial battle of Deir ez-Zor. It is a question of weeks, rather than months, when the government forces will be closing in on the besieged city. After the pivotal liberation of Al-Sukhnan, 60 kilometers north-east of Palmyra, a couple of weeks ago, the pro-Syrian forces have quickly moved to eliminate the threat of the ISIS terrorists from the West and North by encircling thousands of ISIS terrorists in two separate cauldrons in the Hama and Homs regions. Thus isolated they will not threaten the advance of the troops towards Deir ez-Zor. According to media reports, the army had by Tuesday already advanced 30 kilometer further east from Al-Sukhnan. This advance leaves them only 60 kilometers from the town Ash Shula, which is the last town on the road before Deir ez-Zor. From there starts the battle of Deir ez-Zor. At the same time the Syrian army’s elite Tiger Forces have been approaching from the North and are also only 60 kilometers away from Deir ez-Zor. It is evident that they have halted their advance a couple of weeks ago at those positions in order to let the forces approaching from the West on the Sukhnan-Deir ez-Zor road to catch up, and will therefore be able to rapidly move to attack positions when the bugle sounds. At the same time, other Syrian army groups are advancing further down south near the Iraqi border, which will ensure that the ISIS cannot send sufficient reinforcements to the Deir ez-Zor front.
Once the government forces reach the surrounding countryside of Deir ez-Zor there is no doubt that the battle will be swift. Just consider that the ISIS terrorists in its heydays with all its forces and international backing was not able to invade the city, which is holding out for the fourth year against an overwhelming force. Now with the cavalry charging in, the tables will be turned.
Putin’s Geopolitical Checkmate and Waterloo of the NWO
After Russia entered militarily in the Syrian war (or should we say “when Russia started to meddle with the NWO schemes in the Middle East”), the Western establishment was dumbfounded. After having their collective Adam’s apples jump in overdrive at the initial shock, they soon instructed their media and other propaganda assets to ridicule the Russian effort and condemn it to doom and gloom. In the words of then president Obama Russia was “heading for a quagmire in Syria.” It would be another Afghanistan for Russia, Russia would lose and it will be the end of Putin… After the initial success, they changed tack and US State Department spokesman John Kirby announced that in response for its actions in Syria, Russia would now face terrorist attack at home, its jets would be shot down, and its troops would come back in body bags. The Russian side chose to interpret this as nothing else than thinly veiled threats that the US would exactly work on ensuring just that.
But today with the imminent liberation of Deir ez-Zor, we know that Putin has got the upper hand in Syria. Through his wise decision to commit Russian forces to Syria and its excellent and measured execution by the Russian high command, he has together with the Syrian government forces and the other allies essentially crushed the ISIS and with that the US regime change operation in Syria. Putin has secured Russia’s southern borders from the spread of US sponsored terrorist mercenary armies. Putin has delivered Russia into the heart of Middle Eastern geopolitics as a stabilizing force geared on ensuring peace in the region, respected equally by friends and foes as a party with whom to count in the region.
When it was announced, at the end of September 2015 that Russia would commit its armed forces to Syria, I predicted that this would mean Syria becoming the Waterloo of the US elite led New World Order. That’s exactly what happened, I am pleased to say.
