CONTROVERSIAL newly-elected Queensland Senator Pauline Hanson wants to work with an indigenous leader who publicly called her out over her views on Muslims.
Elder Murrandoo Yanner yelled at Ms Hanson to go home while she was visiting Cairns with a Nine Network TV crew in tow on Saturday.

"You're disgraceful.
"You are intellectually dishonest and you are not welcome here."
Afterwards, the Logan One Nation leader took to her own Facebook page, telling her 139,000-plus followers that she was "ashamed" by the incident and that she represented Australia's Aboriginal and Torres Islander communities.
"Really ashamed to see what happened with Murrandoo Yanner on the steps and his abuse of me," Ms Hanson said.
"Please let's work together on these issues.
"They're important to me and important to Aboriginal people.
"I think the perception about me was wrong and I'm here to support the Aboriginal community and Torres Strait Islanders.
