Ex-Israeli spy chief: Iran isn't an existential threat

Efraim Halevy also says he does not know if Israel has nuclear weapons.




Responding to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's argument that the Iran nuclear deal would "threaten the survival" of the country, Halevy says there is no "existential threat" to Israel, including from Iran.
The former intelligence chief also says he does not know if Israel has nuclear weapons.
"In order to be head of Mossad, I don't have to be a person who knows whether we have nukes or not," Halevy tells Mehdi Hasan.
