7.9 Earthquake strikes Nepal

This is one of my  first pictures of  the area of Kathmandu that has been  struck by the earthquake
The monumental Darahar -  Bhimsen's Tower- (seen in  the distance) is  no more.Many of the old buildings around it have been damaged.

Most of the news is from Kathmandu.   No news of what happened to this part of the  valley. Bhaktapur  has, probably, not been spared.
