Remembering Nov '84

It is  30 years to the day. A day of Terror . Terror in Block 32, Trlilokpuri ,  Delhi.  India.

It is a day  that should never be forgotten. Especially if  Trilokpuri is never  to  walk down that path again . It has come close to  repeating  those days  very recently.

Has it,so easily, forgotten the Horror of that day in November 1984 ?

This picture has remained hidden in my 'archive' .  It was used just once in the aftermath of  Nov. '84
The  now ddefunct  Illustrated Weekly of India printed it to accompany an article by Rahul Bedi.

No one else wanted to print it.  Censorship  was the  order of those days.

I was even asked why I had taken the picture. By friends who felt that the ignominious  day was best forgotten.

Should that day be forgotten ?  I think not !
