This Is My Backyard: America Is Not For Black People, Especially Male

Like much of the rest of America, Ferguson, Missouri has become a battlefield, with an almost entirely white, armed-to-the-teeth police force waging war on predominantly black residents enraged after Mike Brown died in the street "like an animal," for no apparent reason. While the FAA has declared a no-fly zone "to provide a safe environment for law enforcement activities," police have shot two more people, declined to hear the chilling first-hand account of the friend with Brown at the time - "Then I saw the fire come out of the barrel" - and shot rubber bullets and tear gas at crowds of hands-up protesters, sometimes standing in their own backyards. Police also issued their first gooey statementabout how they "mourn the loss of Michael Brown's life that occurred last Saturday" (shit happens!) but they'd sure appreciate it if black folks would protest only during daylight hours and in a "respectful manner," seeing as how respectful they've been. Besides, don't these people know freedom ends at sunset?
