"freedom" of expression for artists in the big apple?

Big Brother in the Big Apple will not allow even the beginning of a real discussion  around its spying Drone Programme.  "Geo Spatial Awareness" for civilians seems to be a strict no no. The fightback from an ex  army expert in just that  is just great.

Animal New York sat down with "Essam,"the 29-year-old art schol graduate from Maine to discuss the importance of sparking conservation around the NYPD's controversial surveillance programs, specifically around reports the department isexperimenting with drones.
Nearly 100 posters, all of which included the message, "NYPD Drones. Protection when you least expect it," were put up over the course of two days.
The artist is an Army veteran who served as a "geo-spatial analyst" in the Iraq War. That experience, he explains, plays a large role in how he carries out the campaign without being noticed by officers.
