There is something grimly satisfying about watching the United States finally collide with the brutal consequences of its own arrogance. 

Washington blindly followed Israel into a reckless attack on Iran, believing there would be no serious price to pay. Iran shattered that illusion with devastating force, making the United States pay an extraordinary price for its foolishness.
