By sanctioning the prosecutors and judges investigating acts of atrocity, including this week's designations of Judge Nicolas Guillou, Judge Kimberly Prost, and deputy prosecutors Nazhat Shameem Khan and Mame Mandiaye Niang, on top of earlier sanctions on ICC President Tomoko Akane, prosecutor Abdoulaye Seye, and the four judges who authorised the Netanyahu and Gallant warrants, the Trump administration acts as a shield for Netanyahu, ensuring that state-sanctioned violence remains unpunished.
Eleven ICC officials sanctioned and counting, cut off from banking, barred from travel, for the act of applying the law they were elected or appointed to apply.
Trump and his acolytes must be held to account.
