Two: control the maritime choke points. Hormuz. Malacca. Gibraltar. The Arctic. Because the world trades by sea.
Three: create conflict in Eurasia. Europe against Russia. Israel against Iran. Japan against China.
Because if those nations ever trade peacefully they would build railways and ignore America completely.
The result?
Every nation on earth becomes dependent on the Western Hemisphere for weapons, resources, and financing.
