At the UN, Arab states thought they had a deal: no permanent occupation, no forced displacement, and a path to statehood.
However, just hours before the announcement, Netanyahu revised the plan, and Trump backed it.
The Biggest Changes:
Israel now has a veto over disarmament.
Withdrawal is tied to Israeli approval and could drag on indefinitely.
Even if all terms are met, the IDF will remain in Gaza under the pretext of “security.”
In the end, Netanyahu got what he wanted, and Trump sold out the Arab and Muslim world again.
