Then why does it bomb Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Egypt, Iraq, Iran, Yemen, Qatar, Sudan, and still demand $4 billion a year in tribute from Washington?

By carving up India, starving Bengal, and handing Palestine to settlers at gunpoint?
The empire that bled half the globe white does not get to call itself a savior.
"America sends blood and treasure."
Yes, in Agent Orange and napalm over Vietnam, in depleted uranium over Iraq, in bombs dropped on wedding tents in Afghanistan.
And always for return: oil, markets, bases, obedience.
You ask if Vietnam would have been better off had the West funded the South.
We buried that fantasy in 1975, when your dollars, your weapons, your B-52s could not stop peasants in sandals.
The Saigon regime had all your money and still collapsed because no nation survives on foreign paychecks.
You ask about North Korea.
No Koreans are "better off" under the U.S. occupation that split their land, burned their cities, and threatened them with nuclear annihilation.
South Korea’s "freedom" was bought with massacres and dictatorships Washington armed and blessed.
You invoke gays, Christians, women, as if Western bombs are rainbow-painted and blessed with holy water.
Spare me.
Your crusade for "human rights" always arrives strapped to a missile.
You accuse the left of evil since Robespierre.
I accuse empire of evil since Rome.
One side cuts off heads. The other drops bombs on cities until the sky itself is poisoned.
Tell me, which one leaves graves that glow at night?
You can keep your catechism of Western innocence.
The rest of us live in the wreckage it leaves behind.
