Israeli veterans of the genocide are committing suicide at unprecedented rates, enough to cause IDF Chief Zamir to insist on legislation that would recognize such suicides as having fallen in combat. I cannot imagine their torment and anguish. This is what God says in the book of Leviticus about the ultimate punishment for those who have disobeyed him, after he has killed them in all imaginable ways:
“‘As for those of you who are left, I will make their hearts so fearful in the lands of their enemies that the sound of a windblown leaf will put them to flight. They will run as though fleeing from the sword, and they will fall, even though no one is pursuing them." (Leviticus 26:36)
