I’ve watched my people incinerated, tortured, bombed, humiliated, and shredded. I’ve seen children’s limbs strewn across rubble, pregnant women executed, old men crushed under tanks. Concentration camps. Mass starvation. Mass slaughter. Daily, for 20 months. All done in the name of Judaism. A “Jewish state.” A “Jewish army.” A prime minister quoting the Torah as he unleashes genocide. This isn’t my framing—they chose it. They named it. I simply describe what I see. I’ve faced severe professional consequences for speaking the truth. I’ve endured this genocide not only as a Palestinian, but as someone who dared to speak while the world looked away. And now, after all of this, I make one tweet that unsettles the comfort of anti-Zionist Jews—who claim solidarity until it demands real courage—and suddenly I’m the problem? While Gaza burned, they wrote op-eds and held panels. Thanks—very effective. The moment my grief stops being poetic, the second I stop speaking in terms they approve of, they label me an antisemite. Not because I hate Jews. But because I dared to blame Jews for things Jews say they’re doing in their own name. Go ahead. Call me an antisemite. I really don’t care.
