Lawrence Wilkerson: US ‘Marching Down the Road to War’ Against Iran
Lawrence Wilkerson has presented a dire prediction about a United States war on Iran. The former US Army colonel made this prediction during a Monday interview with host Joy Reid at MSNBC.
Wilkerson argues in the interview that President Donald Trump has taken actions that assure the failure of the Iran nuclear deal entered into by Iran, the US, and several other parties in 2015. Once the agreement fails, says Wilkerson, war follows.
Like with the lead-up to the Iraq War in 2003, with which Wilkerson has much familiarity as the former chief of staff for Secretary of State Colin Powell, Wilkerson says the US is now “marching down the road to war,” this time against Iran.
