This is an important moment to see how empty and manipulative the term "terrorist" is, despite how central it has become in our law, foreign policy, wars and political discourse. The word has never had any real fixed meaning. But in the hands of Israel, it gets applied even to the targeting of soldiers with invading armies. Hezbollah kills armed IDF soldiers occupying Lebanese land -- not civilians, but soldiers -- and that's "terrorism." Same with the West Bank: a 14-year-old Palestinian kid throws a rock at an armed IDF soldier illegally occupying their land and that gets called "terrorism." The term "terrorism" has no meaning other than: those who fight against Israel.

Hezbollah launched an attack tonight in which 4 Israeli soldiers were essentially incinerated.  I assume Israel will hit back very hard.  No MOU or final agreement will change who these terrorists are.
