Israel Reportedly Doubled Its U.S. Influence Budget To
More Than $40 Million.
Why?
Because support is falling.
According to reports, the campaign was originally focused on antisemitism and Israel's position on Palestine.
Now?
The focus has shifted toward defending the w@r with Iran and countering criticism of Netanyahu's government.
! Think about that.
If public support was strong...
why spend $40 million trying to influence Americans?
Why target conservative audiences?
Why launch a major messaging campaign at all?
According to the report, Israeli officials became concerned after polls showed declining support among Republican voters, especially younger conservatives.
In other words:
The problem wasn't Iran.
The problem was Americans increasingly questioning the w@r.
!! Here's the uncomfortable question.
If China spent $40 million influencing American conservatives...
what would Washington call it?
Foreign influence.
National security concern.
Interference.
Congressional hearings.
Wall-to-wall media coverage.
! But when Israel reportedly spends more than $40 million trying to shape American opinion...
suddenly it's called public diplomacy.
Same activity.
Different label.
!! The irony is impossible to ignore.
America constantly warns the world about foreign influence campaigns.
Then one of America's closest allies launches a multi-million-dollar effort aimed directly at influencing American political opinion.
And maybe the biggest question of all:
If the case for the w@r is so strong...
why spend $40 million convincing people?
Because when public support starts falling...
the first thing that usually grows is the propaganda budget.
? If foreign governments spending millions to shape American opinion is a problem, why should the standard change depending on which country is doing it?
