We all witnessed when Israel shred the UN Charter at the UN in 2024 after we documented and reported on hundreds of war crimes in Gaza, Lebanon and seven other countries. Their representative even called me a terrorist for reporting Israel violations of international law at the UN.
Today, Israel seeks UN help accusing Iran of committing war crimes by launching missiles with cluster munitions at Israel.
I'm often said that international law designed to protect civilians, medical personnel, journalists, prisoners of wars, and to maintain world peace.
This’s not the failure of the law. The law stands and its principles remain clear. The failure is our collective will to uphold it. And to put a punishment for those who violate the international law.

Israel must understand that they can’t turn on and off international law whenever they want.
