Netanyahu once described an Iranian nuclear strike on Israel as “10,000 tons of TNT hitting a country the size of New Jersey (22,610 km²).” Yet Israel has dropped an estimated 80,000 tons of explosives on Gaza — an area just 365 km², or 1.6% the size of New Jersey — the equivalent of eight nuclear bombs.
