Please, make sure everyone sees this. Yesterday, I messaged the bureau chief in Jerusalem of a major global newspaper—one known in every corner of the world. I asked a simple question: Did you report on the beheaded fetus who was killed alongside his mother in the Shati Refugee Camp on Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. local time? Their reply? “Thanks for the suggestion.” When I offered to send them the footage via WhatsApp, and even help connect them with the families, they answered: “Thank you and don’t worry. We have a great team.” But I do worry. Because it’s been 82 hours since that fetus was beheaded in his mother’s womb, and still—nothing. No coverage. No headlines. No outrage.
